Sainte-Anne-La-Palud chapel

Why take advantage?

This marshy site has seen its chapel rebuilt many times. The pardon, one of the most important in Brittany, is held here every last Sunday in August. Featuring a 1903 side chapel to St. Anne, grandmother of the Bretons, and an imposing exterior altar from 1948, the church dominates the hill above the sea, with a sunken fountain from 1870. The interior features a number of old elements, including an imposing granite St. Anne's statue dating from 1548 and a number of ex-votos.
Roland Doré's calvary (circa 1642) faces the entrance to the church. The oldest statue dates from the 15th century, but all the elements have been modified.
