About us

The start of this 10 km hike is at the charming Saint-Sébastien chapel, a real treasure of Saint-Ségal's religious heritage!

Start by heading northeast along the road. At the crossroads, locate the calvary and continue right along the road. Then cross the bridge over the railroad line and follow its path to the right. Cross the stream, taking the road on your right, then climb towards Lanvaïdic. Passing the Saint-Aubin chapel, walk downhill along the road, before turning right to take an undergrowth path which leads to the valley of the River Aulne.

Follow the road, then continue along a passageway around the pillar of the railway viaduct. Cross the road and take a new path along the riverbank. You'll reach Port-Launay's famous Guily Glaz lock, and continue along the Aulne for another 4 km. Turn right twice to reach Rospiriou. Using the same calvary as a landmark, return to your starting point at the Saint-Sébastien chapel.
