Why take advantage?

The history of the Notre-Dame de la Clarté chapel (18th century) is closely linked to the Moëllien manor family, which explains the architectural unity between the two buildings. There is evidence that an oratory preceded the chapel built by Guy de Moëllien in 1739. The Gothic chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary was built in recognition of the lord's safe return from battle. The de Moëllien family coat of arms can be seen on the 1735 fountain, with its beautiful stele featuring all the architectural principles of the 18th century. Its water is said to cure eye diseases. The two sacristies date from 1747 to the south and 1814 to the north. The stiles of the enclosure are made of schist.
At the manor house, there is also a monumental isolated cross, 4.50 m high, with a Christ on one side and a Virgin and Child on the other, probably dating from the late 17th century.
