Saint-Corentin chapel

Why take advantage?

Built between 1898 and 1900 to plans by J.-M. Abgrall, Plomodiern's Saint-Corentin chapel replaced a 17th-century edifice.
Two inscriptions found at the time read: "1668. MISSIRE. IAN. LE. CAM. R. / THOMAS. LE DIDAILLER. F." (at bedside) and: "V. M. O. BOVRDOVLOVS. R. / IEROSME. BILLON F. 1701." (on the sacristy).

The current building is in neo-Gothic style, with a high nave, accompanied by an exterior loggia to the south, and a choir with a polygonal chevet. A granite statue of Saint Corentin stands at the top of the church.

Not far from here, you'll find a fountain with an arch and pediment, embellished with a statue of Saint Corentin.
