Saint-Jérôme Church
Why take advantage?
The church and its calvary are listed as historic monuments.
Saint Jerome was a Doctor of the Church born in the 4th century. He was renowned for his intelligence, knowledge and enthusiasm.
The church contains a fine 17th-century processional cross. The various statues reflect the scourges of the past: rage for Saint Gildas and Saint Tugen, mental deficiency for Saint Mathurin, sterility for Saint Génite, famine for Saint Corentin, plague for Saint Sébastien, poverty for Saint Yves and sin symbolized by the dragon trampled underfoot by Saint Marguerite.
The southern porch is richly decorated in Gothic style. [ After Anne Dietrich ]
